This excellent Gran Reserva 1994 is a complex and intense wine, elaborated with Pedro Ximénez grapes harvested in mid-August and laid under the sun for 7 to 9 days to concentrate all their sugars. After the press, it was left to rest for 12 months in stainless steel tanks and, when the period came to an end, it was stored in American oak butts for 27 years

Dark mahogany. Its movement tints the glass with iodized tones. Raisined fruits (grapes, plums, dates, dried peaches) and an orange peel citric touch. When shaken, notes of liquorice, coffee, cinnamon and cocoa stand out. Sweet and velvety, which off sets the acidity and bitterness and allows a good balance in palate.
This excellent Gran Reserva is ideal for pairing with dark chocolates and light blue cheeses.
