SILVER AND PLATINUM MEDALS TO TORO ALBLÁ IN THE DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS 2018

Toro Albalá triumphs in the 2018 Decanter DWWA magazine awards. Don PX Old Wine 1988 has received the Silver medal, with 90 points, and the Platinum medal, with 97 points, went for Marqués de Poley Palo Cortado Selección 1964.

Decanter Magazine is the number one magazine, the oldest and the main reference in the world of wine in the United Kingdom. Since its founding in 1975 in London, until today, where it is published simultaneously in 91 countries, the magazine has been fully dedicated to analyzing, spreading and promoting the best wines in the world, where the Cordovan wines are included today again.

Don PX 1988Old wine is clean, zahino black, bright, with great intensity, aromas of candied fruits and raisins, dates and fig bread and a slight background of orange peel.

Marqués de Poley Palo Cortado 1964 is a wine with an attractive amber color palette, bright and clean. A wine with character, high aromatic intensity, noble and elegant. Its aromas of tobacco, wood and spices stand out, but its touch of saltpeter, mineral and its notes of citrus, fine pastries and nuts, won’t leave anyone indifferent. It’s the only Palo Cortado that the winery currently has on the market, being of great value to the national and international public.

Toro Albalá demonstrates its know-how in terms of very old wines, with charisma and exceptional quality.
