BODEGAS TORO ALBALÁ WINS WITH THEIR GRAN RESERVA VINEGAR IN THE VINAWIN AWARDS

The Toro Albalá Gran Reserva vinegar with P.O.D. Montilla-Moriles has obtained the Gold medal in the VINAVIN AWARDS 2019. It’s one of the most important vinegar competitions in the world. The Cordovan winery was already known in this contest for having great scores in previous years.

Bodegas oro Albalá has been elaborating high-quality vinegars in Moriles’ facilities for decades. The elaboration and ageing of vinegars have been traditionally considered a labour linked to the Cordovan winery. Following the P.O.D“Montilla-Moriles Vinegar”, we currently have Gran Reserva Vinegar.

Toro Albalá Gran Reserva Vinegar is elaborated with high-quality Bodegas Toro Albalá fino wines and an ageing of over 30 years. As for the tasting notes, it’s a dark mahogany vinegar with copper borders. Clean and bright. Dry and intense. Balanced and pleasant acidity, lingering finish and aroma, with nuts and toasted aromatic notes. As for serving suggestions, it can be paired with anchovy salads or tuna tartar. A great ally of Asian cuisine.

In this competition with blind tasting by a group of experts, they have also received the Special Award Deputation: Aceto Balsámico di Modena IGP INVECHIATO, de Carapelli Firenze Sa –Tavernelle Val Di Pesa (Italy); Honey Vinegar, Supreme Vinegar –Philadelphia (USA) and Gran Reserva Vinegar Chiachio - (Cabra-Spain).

Bodegas Toro Albalá wins, once again, in a competition thanks to their know-how in the traditional vinegar elaboration world with P.O.D Montilla-Moriles.
